Winning début for El Ganador!
Last Saturday the alarm clock rang very early at The Beukenvallei as Marcel, Joyce and Maddy had to leave for Indoor Breugel in Schijndel (The Netherlands). Maddy competed Elroy, Euroboy and El Ganador. El Ganador is a three year old stallion which made his début at this show.
First it was Euroboy's turn. He did a good job but was a bit tensed in the beginning. Maddy and Euroboy came fifth.
Elroy was a bit tensed too and held his breath during the test. That was a pity but he is only a young horse without much experience. Elroy came sixth.
Then, it was El Ganador's turn. It was unbelievable what he did: it started already at home. He jumped in the horse truck as if he already has done it many times before. In the warming up he was super and so brave and in the test he was very focussed on his rider. Both tests went really well and the scores were 210 and 222 points and this meant a big victory!
El Gandor qualified for the big final on Sunday. The finalists ride the test and are accompanied by live piano music. Pictures and videos will be online soon!
