Top day in Nispen! Joyce and Farewell win, Juanjo 2nd!

Yesterday there was a début on Joyce's program: In Nispen she competed nine year old gelding Farewell for the first time at Prix St. Georges level.

Joyce and Farewell had the best début they could hope for: the pair won the test with over 68%!

Spanish rider Juanjo Santiago Castells is four months in training at The Beukenvallei. The horse Joyce competed is owned by Juanjo. He has an other horse, Donoban. He did several practise shows and now he competed officially at Prix St Georges level. Juanjo and Donoban did a good job and finished second with over 66%.

'We can look back at a very successful and hot day. I am so happy with Farewell. He is such a friendly and workwilling horse. I only ride him since recently. He is owned by Juanjo Santiago Castells who trains with Marcel. I love this horse and I didn't have to think twice when I was asked to ride this horse. Farewell is for sale but I will enjoy the time he still is at The Beukenvallei and I will compete him more often', Joyce says.
