Super come back Authentic!

After over 11 months Joyce and Authentic have made their come back yesterday. Joyce showed Authentic at the Dutch subtop show in Wezep. The come back was very successful as the pair ended up third with a score of almost 67%. Joyce performed Ubique as well and came fifth at Grand Prix level. 

Joyce tells about the show:
'First I performed Authentic at Prix St. Georges level. I was looking forward to show this princess again :) I missed her so much! Last year she got injured at the show in Compiegne (France). She fell in her stall. We gave her all the time she needed to recover and now she is healthy for 200% again. I know she can be hot when she hasn't been competing for a while so I started my test safe. She did a great job. In the last three exercises we got a mistake, too bad of course: a fault in the tempi changes, she changes during collecting after extended canter and she didn't want to stand still during the halt and salut. But I am so happy with this start and we will work on the details. 
About Ubique's test I can be short: I wasn't satisfied as I did a bad job myself! My goal was to ride a clear test and to have more expression in the passage tour. Well, the start was great and the passage much better. In the canter tour normally Ubique is clear and we can have eights, I got mistake after mistake... pfff and of course some exercises count twice. I didn't ride enough, Ubique was very wild on the truck when it was Authentic's turn and Ubique was tired when he had to enter the ring. It is no excuse as I just had to ride more as I always do but I didn't. I have learned a lot during the Grand Prix:) We finished fifth with over 64%. I look forward to our next show!'
