Showboy second at Indoor Brabant!

Last Thursday it was a long and busy day for Marcel and Joyce at Indoor Brabant in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.

Joyce and Showboy competed in the freestyle kur at Z2 level. The best eight combinations of the provincial championships qualified for this show. Joyce came champion and so she got a ticket for this big international show!

Unfortunately a sound check wasn't possible. Too bad.... when Joyce started her test there was not enough volume and you could hardly hear the music. While entering the ring Showboy was a little tensed. There was a big mistake in the extended trot due to a miscommunication. The rest of the test went really good and the second extended trot was good for a nine!

'I am so proud of Showboy. He did not compete so much in his career and such a big arena is quit impressive. He did a good job and I am very satisfied with our second prize and over 76%. Of course it's too bad we had some mistakes and the soft music was a bit annoying but I am happy. We really had a dream season: we won the Decor Son Bokaal, the regional championships, the provincial championships and the Dutch championships and now we came second at Indoor Brabant. So super!! The coming period we will stay home to train and then I hope to have him ready for the small tour.' Joyce said.
