Selection Almelo: Showboy wins, Authentic fourth!

Last Sunday Showboy scored over 70% in the first qualifier for the Dutch championships in Almelo. With this score he won the test!

Authentic was competed in Almelo as well and finished fourth with a score of over 67%. For Authentic it only was her second Prix St Georges show. 

'It was raining all day in Almelo and during Showboy's test the rain was pouring from the sky. I don't want to use this as an excuse but I lost my focus a bit in the canter tour. The trot was very good and we didn't make any big mistakes. I could have worked more on the details in the canter tour. Authentic wasn't bothered by the rain. She did a super job. Unfortunately we made two big mistakes in canter when she changed two times in the counter canter and in the extended canter. Too bad but I had a nice feeling. We need to get more routine together. I am super proud of my two toppers and we had a good start in this serie of qualifiers', says Joyce.
