Practice show Uden

Last Friday the Beukenvallei truck was loaded with four horses to go to the practice show in Uden. Marcel and Joyce think this show is a perfect way to train with the horses in show conditions. 

Joyce herself took two horses: the new grey gelding Zikomo de Grand and Vanquisch. Zikomo is owned by team Collins-Strijk and Joyce will compete this cool gelding at shows. The pair competed ZZ-Zwaar this time. He did a good job at this first show.

Vanquisch will be shown at the international show in Compiegne in France next weekend so this was a perfect timing to train the test. Marcel and Anky both helped Joyce. Vanquisch did a good job and Joyce can focus more and more on the details in the test. 

The third horse was Zaniet, the horse of Anouk Daris who is doing her internship at The Beukenvallei. Anouk competed ZZ-zwaar. It was a nice moment for Marcel and Joyce to help Anouk in her test.

Aachen was with us as well. The horse of Marcel's student Gina Pijnenburg. Aachen and Gina (picture) haven't competed for a while because they wanted to improve at home first. Now the pair rode a Prix St. Georges test under the watchful eye of Marcel and it was a successful practice round.
