News update

Hello everyone!

Because of the hustle and bustle at the Beukenvallei it has been a while ago since our last news update. So it's time for a new update as a lot of things happened and are about to happen. 

Right now we are in full preparation for the Dutch indoor championships in Ermelo coming weekend. I will compete Showboy at small tour level. Coming Friday we leave for Ermelo and on Saturday I will ride the first test. For HorsUs.eu I will write a blog so keep an eye on this website! Furthermore there are live results and livestreams of these championships via the website of the Dutch federation KNHS. 

A while ago Edson has left The Beukenvallei to his new owner and now two other horses are sold. Guccie (Charmeur x De Niro) has been sold to Great Britain. We have bred this horse (picture) ourselves. Don Luka moved to the stables of Dutch Anky van Grunsven. Don Luka is sold to her Japanese client who is in The Netherlands for the coming months to train with Anky. The goal is to show Don Luka at the world championships at Grand Prix level. 

Edson and his new rider Fleur have made their début in the show arena and immediately the pair won a test and came second in the other test. 

Several students of Marcel have been very successful: Alexandra Langeveld came second at Prix St Georges level and Trudy Derks finished second at ZZ-zwaar level.

Our sweet dog Pip (picture) got an angel on her shoulder when she got kicked by a horse last week. She was unconscious and it seemed she was dead. But... after a while she was awake again and she didn't have any injuries! A miracle!
