Mercedes Verweij new rider Showboy!

After many successful years Showboy has left his stall at The Beukenvallei to his new owner and rider, 18 year old Mercedes Verweij.

Mercedes has been a very successful rider at pony and Junior level and she has participated at several European championships and national championships where she has won many medals.

Showboy became Dutch champion with Joyce in his saddle at Z2 and ZZ level. Showboy won a lot at national and international shows and last year he got his qualification to compete at Grand Prix level. 

'Of course I am sad that my friend Showboy has left our stable. I have won so many shows with him but more important he was such a good fellow. Already the first time Mercedes rode him I had a good feeling about this new duo. Mercedes is a very sweet and talented rider. I could see there was a ´click´ from the first second between her and Showie. I couldn´t have wished for a better home and rider for Showie. I will enjoy watching these two! I wish Mercedes all the luck with her new star!´ Joyce tells.
