Berdien Faasen qualified for regional championships

Berdien Faasen, a Beukenvallei student, and her Don Scott (picture) have had their last qualifier for the Dutch regional championships last Saturday. The duo competes level L2. It went very well and Berdien came fourth. In the overall rankings she came second and she qualified for the Dutch regional championships in the South of The Netherlands which will take place at the end of January.

For Sandra Faasen and her horse Captain the last selection was a bit disappointing. She was in the lead in the L1 rankings but the result of her performance last Saturday was not as good as the others. She came 13th and unfortunately now she most probably did not qualify for the regional championships.

'Captain and I had done a nice test without big mistakes. When I saw the results I did not understand it at all. More combinations that had performed very well at the other shows were not found in the top this time. So the result was a big surprise for many riders. Still, I am satisfied about my test and my horse and that is the most important!' Sandra tells after the show.
