A successful day again!

Hallo everyone,

Yesterday late evening I had written a long report about the show. When I put it online there was no internet connection and I lost all my text. It was after midnight and honestly, I was not motivated to do it all over again... 

So I now start with Wednesday: I had to enter the ring as third competitor with Showboy. There were 37 participants in the small tour. I had trained Showie in the morning already and in the warming up he immediately felt good. The trot tour in the test was super. Unfortunately I had a big mistake in the extended walk which counts two times. Showie spooked when something flapped due to the wind. This cost lots of points. Too bad as the canter tour was good again... We got 68,9% and we finished sixth. We are qualified for the kur on Saturday.

After Showie's test we quickly had to make Authentic ready. Authentic really did a super job! She changed one time while entering but she didn't compete for a long time so we were very happy! We won the test with a score of 71%. We had over three percent more than the runner up.

Than it was Bink's turn as last participant of this class. Bink did a good job and he reacted very nice to my aids. In canter we got one big miss communication so that was too bad. We were very satisfied and we scored over 67% and we came fifth!

The prize giving ceremony was at 8.45 PM and we saddled Bink. He is very okay with prize giving ceremonies. We got a very nice rug and we listened to our own national anthem! 

Today, Thursday, only Authentic and Bink had to be shown. Authentic was the first to go. Both horses were very nice today but maybe they over-reacted a bit to my aids. In today's test I had to go on the center line and make a change at D and G. This is very difficult for Authentic and she decided to make a few more changes on this line which was not very much appreciated ;-). Anyway, we came third with a score of 67,94%.

This time Bink scored 67% again. He was good but the halt was not good both times so that cost points as he didn't want to stand still.

The first week is finished for Bink and Authentic. They are back in the ring next week during the CDI ****. Coming Saturday Showboy will be shown in the freestyle kur to music. 

Today, Friday, all horses have just a trainings day. My parents have arrived here as well and will stay for a couple of days. After the training we will go to Barcelona city! I will keep you updated!
