5th at Dutch championships!

Hello everyone,

At the Dutch championships there was no WiFi so I couldn't update the website. So now I will. 

Last Tuesday we left to Hoofddorp and on Wednesday the first test was on the program. Tuesday evening we handwalked Showboy and we arranged our stuff. On Wednesday morning I did a light training with Showboy in the main arena and he felt good and fit. 

In the afternoon the Prix St. Georges was on the schedule. Our test was good but we had too many little things that could go better. Although we didn't make big mistakes many small things costs points as well. We scored over 68% (we expected a bit more) and we finished seventh in this test. 

On Thursday we had to ride Intermediare 1. We started super, but in walk Showboy spooked and we had a disturbance for the exercise which counts x2. The canter tour was good again. The best eight qualified for the final and we came seventh so we were qualified for the final! 

Friday we just trained. Anky and Marcel helped me and the training was super. I was looking forward to the kur on Saturday! I was the first to go in the kur. And it went super! No big mistakes and Showboy was focussed very well. We scored over 71% and we came fifth in the final ranking!
